Staff at Wellington Medical Centre
The physicians have medical assistants that greet patients, take them to their room, do a brief intake, start forms, set up for procedures, and are present during physicals. Some of these staff members have been taught how to give injections. Many of them do suture removals, ear flushing, and wart removals under the physicians direction/supervision.
We have one receptionist checking patients in, and 2-staff members answering the telephones for every 2-physicians. These staff members also book appointments with specialists, and other duties time permitting.
We are a paperless office and have a dedication person scanning all paper pertaining to patients into the computer.
There is an administrator and a junior administrator working in the office to oversee the day-to-day operation of the clinic.
